CIDDIC is a research centre at the Faculty of Contemporary Music at Unicamp. The centre is composed of four other organs; OSU, CDMC, ELM and Ziper na Boca, varying their activities within the musical universe.
When CIDDIC requested a redesign of all logos, they asked to create a unique graphic identity for the centre’s communication. The identity needed to be broad in its possibilities to give autonomy to each organ and, at the same time, simple to be reproduced by the designer responsible for CIDDIC’s communication.
Furthermore, we developed a designer bot with p5.js for the centre. With this bot, any user can make a layout compatible with CIDDIC’s visual identity. Right below this paragraph, there is a demo poster that was generated by this bot - you can click the button to create a new layout iteration. With this tool, the user can set up the canvas size, the texts and colours of the layout. The program receives all this information, organizes it into the canvas and provides a printable or digital version to download.
